The Work…

My work is based on lived experiences as a starting point and then I move these images into a new, different space, an imagined reality almost. The work looks at the fragmented and shows the process and the time in the work, to show the vulnerability in the undone, to paint over areas and to push the work to the point of almost undoing it.

My work explores the interplay between reality, memory and my own experiences.
